Drugs seized and arrests made in Herefordshire drugs raid

DRUGS have been seized and two people arrested after police descended on a property in Leominster this morning.

A spokesperson for Leominster Safer Neighbourhood Team said officers, accompanied by CID, dog units and patrol officers have executed a drugs warrant at an address on the outskirts of the town.

The warrant was a positive search and two persons have been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cannabis/class B drugs, the spokesperson said.

“You said, we did,” the spokesperson said.

“We always act on information given to us about drug dealing.”

Anyone with any information about the supply of drugs is asked to report it online by visiting www.westmercia.police.uk/report or calling 999 for crimes in progress.

If you have information but don’t feel comfortable speaking to the police, you can speak to the independent charity Crimestoppers. It is 100 per cent anonymous, they never ask your name and they cannot trace your call or IP address. You can contact them online or by calling 0800 555 111.
