Loud ’N’ Proud, Herefordshire’s brand‑new LGBTQIA+ choir, launches this June with an inclusive, joyful community singing event open to LGBTQIA+ people and allies.

The Launch Day Workshop takes place on Sunday 14 June, 2–5pm at the South Hub, Lower Hall, St John’s Methodist, St Owen’s Street, Hereford (HR1 2PR). This welcoming session invites everyone—beginners, experienced singers, and anyone who simply loves music—to come together, meet new people and discover the uplifting power of group singing.

The choir is built on values of inclusion, support, community and joy. There are no auditions, no need to read music, and all voices are celebrated. Whether you’re looking to build confidence, make friends, express yourself or simply enjoy singing in a safe and affirming space, Loud ’N’ Proud offers a warm welcome.

Following the launch, the choir will host monthly workshops open to all LGBTQIA+ singers and allies across Herefordshire.
