Putley Open Gardens June 15th 2024

15 June @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

£5 – £15

Come and enjoy a variety of gardens, large and small, some cottage style and others more formal, all in the beautiful Herefordshire countryside – it’s a glorious day out with many happy visitors over the ten years that we’ve been opening.

This year we’ll be opening on Saturday June 15th. There will be several gardens for you to visit and plenty of refreshments – bacon butties, light lunches and tea & cake served in Putley Parish Hall, along with the occasional ‘beverage’ available in some of the gardens.

The gardens and the Parish Hall will be open from 10am- 5pm. Entry is just £5 pp.

Tickets and maps can be obtained on the day at Putley Parish Hall (HR8 2QN) where you’ll find plenty of parking, plant sales, our tombola and toilets. Monies raised go towards the upkeep of our Parish Hall (home to The Prancing Pony, Putley’s Pop Up Pub and many other community events) and our beautiful church, also open and well worth a visit.

Each of the gardens open has nearby parking (no more than 300 yards away) as it’s a ‘good’ walk around the village (approx. 2.5 miles) to visit everywhere. Footpaths around Putley will be clearly marked, whilst it is a great opportunity to enjoy our lovely countryside making use of the nearby parking will allow you more time to appreciate the gardens. Alternatively bring your bicycles.

There’ll be new gardens to visit this year, and of course it’s a month later than our usual opening date so plenty of garden interest. There are ponds, sculpture, topiary, wild flowers and wonderful views to behold – all with the garden owners on hand to help with your enjoyment.

Come and enjoy a glorious day out in the beautiful village of Putley in the Herefordshire countryside.

Dogs, with the exception of Guide Dogs, are not allowed in the gardens or Parish Hall.

For more information please visit: www.putleygardens.co.uk, find us on Facebook and find the Parish Hall with What Three Words: Overtime: Assurance: Debut

Look out for plenty of signs for POG (Putley Open Gardens) in the weeks leading up to the event and directional signs to help you on the day.

Putley Open Gardens conveniently coincides with the Royal Three Counties Show in Malvern, the largest agricultural show in the Midlands, just a 30 mins away by car, why not make a weekend of it.
