Anthony Smith entered a guilty plea to one count of driving while over the drug limit when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford in July.
The court heard from prosecutor Mark Hambling that the 22-year-old had been caught behind the wheel of a blue Vauxhall Meriva while over the drug-driving limit on the M50 at Ross-on-Wye in Herefordshire on January 29.

An evidential blood test revealed that Smith, who was represented at the hearing by defence solicitor Andrew Cleal, had 195 microgrammes of class A controlled drug cocaine metabolite benzoylecgonine per litre of blood. The legal limit is 50.
Smith, of Tinker’s Corner, Coddington, was disqualified from driving for 14 months and fined £80, with magistrates saying they had taken his guilty plea into account when imposing the penalty.
He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £100 and a £32 victim surcharge.
