Hollywood superstar set to become Jeremy Clarkson’s new neighbour

Sydney Sweeney is reportedly plotting a secret move to the Cotswolds with her boyfriend Scooter Braun.

The Euphoria star recently viewed a property in Little Tew, West Oxfordshire, England, and if she and the 45-year-old multi-millionaire businessman decide to split their time between the US and the village, they would have some famous neighbours.

These include football legend Sir David, 51, and fashion designer Lady Victoria Beckham, 52, and former talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, 68, and her 53-year-old wife, actress Portia de Rossi.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “Sydney has visited the Cotswolds twice in the past 10 months, and absolutely loves it. She viewed property there within the past three months.

“She doesn’t get bothered by locals, who are all well-used to seeing A-listers, and finds village life incredibly cute and quaint.

“It’s also a huge change of pace from LA and all the vultures circling. And she can lead a more peaceful life in the countryside.”

Jeremy Clarkson is another famous face who has made West Oxfordshire his home, living at Diddly Squat Farm near Chadlington, a short distance from Chipping Norton.

The 1,000-acre farm has become internationally known thanks to the hit Prime Video series Clarkson’s Farm, which follows the former Top Gear presenter as he attempts to navigate the realities of farming alongside familiar faces including Kaleb Cooper.

Mr Clarkson has expanded his Cotswolds empire beyond farming, with Diddly Squat Farm Shop becoming a major attraction for fans of the programme.

He also opened The Farmer’s Dog in Asthall, near Burford, in 2024 after taking over the former Windmill pub, adding another Oxfordshire business to his growing portfolio.

The pub champions British farming, with its official website advertising an all-British menu as well as a butcher and bottle shop and Diddly Squat products.

Mr Clarkson’s ventures have helped turn his corner of the Cotswolds into a destination for fans of the hugely popular television series, with visitors travelling to the area to see locations made famous on screen.

Little Tew is ideal as it is close to Pinewood Studios, the home of the new James Bond film, which Sydney, 29, could star in.

The source continued: “Pinewood Studios are also only about an hour away, meaning she could easily stay at home while filming should she land the gig.”

Trina Parks, 78, who became the first Black Bond girl when she starred opposite the late Sir Sean Connery as assassin Thumper in 1971’s Diamonds Are Forever, thinks Sydney is perfect to take on her former role for the next 007 movie.

She told The Telegraph newspaper: “Sydney would do a wonderful job. She has done quite a range of acting things and basically has got ownership of her sexual identity.

“Not only is she a talented actress, but has this Hollywood classic kind of style and poise, which really works for her projects and brand.

“I feel for modern cinema and film-making and the future of Bond, audiences want to see a woman opposite Bond who is independent and has ownership of her sexuality. Sydney has those qualities.”
