The Original Factory Shop in Bobblestock’s Co-op closed earlier this year after the chain went into administration.
At the time, troubles were said to be driven by challenging trading conditions, linked to high cost inflation, fragile consumer confidence and rising labour costs caused by government policies.
But the space in the Grandstand Road supermarket has now been taken over by clothing chain Bonmarché.
The popular brand, boasted by TV presenter Lorraine Kelly, sells wide selection of stylish, contemporary womenswear designed to inspire everyday confidence and comfort.
Bonmarché announced on Monday (June 8) that the shop was now open.
It will be open 9am until 5.30pm Monday to Saturday, and 10am untl 4pm on Sundays.
It is Bonmarché’s second shop in the city as the chain has a bigger outlet in St Peter’s Street.
