Hereford thief banned from Tesco, M&S, and Texaco shops

Peter Evans entered guilty pleas to four counts of theft from a shop when he appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster in October.

The court heard from prosecutor Melanie Winterflood that the 35-year-old had stolen four cans of cider from Hereford’s Commercial Road Texaco petrol station and three bottles of vodka worth £100 from Hereford’s Bewell Street Tesco supermarket on October 12.

He had also stolen meat products worth £30 from Hereford’s Marks and Spencer supermarket and meat products worth £15 from Hereford’s Holme Lacy Road Tesco Express on October 17.

The case was adjourned for a pre-sentencing report to be carried out by the probation service and Evans, of Pomona Place, Hereford, was released on bail with conditions not to enter any Tesco in Hereford, Marks and Spencer in Hereford, or the Commercial Road Texaco.

He will appear before magistrates in Hereford for sentencing on November 21.
